Oh this is really pretty~ Really love how you got the lighting to work.

At first I thought the blues were waves and he was on the beach. Kinda works cause his arm looks like it's reflecting in the water. But the dream like state works too.

Nice work. I like how you did his face and expression.

The blue thingie down there looks a bit strange though. In itself it is okay, but because it hides part of his arm with the same skin-toned color, it looks strange, as if the arm was "washed away". Maybe just try out another color on that streak, more blueish maybe, so there is more contrast between the arm and the dreamscape.

They're.. like... *makes wave motions with hands*... dream waves! As in.. I was too annoyed to try to draw a literal-looking wave, but I thought that this did a decent job of carrying the Idea of a wave.. *more wave motions with fingers.. see? No? Yes? Maybe? Everything about it is supposed to suggest a dream, a memory.. not too literal.. but not crazed, either. Sigh! I almost think that I should just suck it up and let it be a bit more literal, 'cause it kinda wants to. Draw a wave, the very thin edge of one, slipping up onto his arm. Hmmm.

Maybe I'll work on it a bit more.....

..... ... where are my colouring skills!? D: They aren't very big, I keep them in this wee box here.....

I think it does the job nicely. :3 In either sense of the literal or figurative aspect... I don't really think it needs more work but it's always fun to tamper around with stuff after you achieve one image. See what other imagery can come out of something. (Remembers back to one image that she drew to end up being a happy picture and ended up looking sad and depressing. lol)
