Description
This here be acrylic on gessoed illustration board.. I think I used Claybord, and if you've never tried the stuff, and like working on board.. it's a really good surface! Like it, I do.
Anyway.
This isn't finished. I haven't even decided if I want to leave the horse white or not. Just a bit stuck, and.. well... stuck, therefore I shall post it. People say the most inspiring things!

Um, I had something intelligent to say, but it's very early in the morning and all my brain can come up with is: "horsey go zoom". 
Mmm... You always worry about your work being unfinished, but actually quite like the rough look here. It kind of lends a feeling of velocity to the image, which works to your advantage. As for the colour of the horse, I like the contrast the white lends to the red background... a brown horse wouldn't be as much of a juxtaposition, and might "get lost" in the picture, if you know what I mean.
And white horses are faster. Wheee!
