It will be recognised that there are two approaches to dealing with Balthier's vest:

The first involves an eye for incredible detail and either sufficient draftsmanship/dogged determination to render it or enough cleverness to simplify it in a satisfying fashion.

This is the second. :D Laziness, eh?

Otherwise, I don't really know what he's looking at. Fran, perhaps? ;)

Hey, comments! :D Thank you all very much. I am currently arguing with the colouring of this piece; it's just been too danged long since I've coloured anything in Photoshop, I'm used to just painting stuff. Pleh!

woot. He's sexier without the vest...and it's a pain to draw, anyway.

... it IS a 'The Rock' face, isn't it? Well, Dammit, I wasn't going for that, but he wears it well, I suppose. (He could wear anything.. or nothing.. well, couldn't he? :p)

The vest is a pain, pity he looks so hot in it; and as for the pants, well... I could tell you, but I would most certainly have to card you first. (And I really need my filthy little eyebrow-waggle smiley!) Just how explicit can these little comments on dA be, anyway?

Oh, jolly good! :) Well then, in that case I can tell you that he doesn't really get *into* his pants as much as they are gotten *onto* him every morning using a combination of airbrush and liquid latex.
